Long Lines

This project extensively documented and researched the Pacific Northwest halibut schooner. The halibut schooner is unique to this region and an important part of the local history and economy.

The Longline Centennials Project was completed under the umbrella of The Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle and with the support of several organizations, including 4-Culture, Whole Foods, the Fishing Vessel Owners' Association, and others. The project has included research, photography, and oral history interviews.
